[size=3][color=darkorchid]J.DPower一年一度的新车质量调查报告（2008）最近发布了。该报告认为，2008年度，整个汽车产业新车质量的提升非常明显，参加此项调查的36个汽车品牌中的四分之三均取得了不同程度的进步，从而使行业平均每百辆汽车问题数从2007年的125个，下降到现在的118个。
“一些新车型的杰出表现，再加上不断降低的缺陷和故障数量，使2008年的行业平均质量表现和2007年相比，有了6%的明显提升。”J.DPower负责汽车研究的副总裁DavidSargent说。

J.D.Power新车质量报告
J.D.Power是全球性的专业消费者调研机构，近年来该机构每年都对众多的汽车用户进行调查，以评出各细分市场的优胜车型和排名。
新车质量报告是评估某品牌每100辆车在前90天使用中出现的设计缺陷和故障。此次新车质量调查主要针对各汽车厂商的2008新款轿车和卡车，调查对象包括81500名新车购买者及租赁者，收集了这些用户在2008年2月至4月期间驾驶新车的所有体验，并对发现的一系列质量问题进行研究，最终进行分析后得出的结论。
保时捷勇夺3连冠
通用汽车拿了三个冠军马自达当选最佳进步品牌
在衡量新车质量水准的每百辆汽车问题数指标（PP100）上，共有16个汽车品牌超过了行业平均水平。保时捷连续3年获得了这项评估的冠军，今年他们每100辆车只出现87个问题。英菲尼迪从去年的第九蹿升到了第二，98PP100。雷克萨斯获得了第三，99PP100，梅塞德斯奔驰和丰田并列第四，104PP100。
值得注意的是今年的前五名没有了林肯，去年林肯获得了第三的好成绩，而今年则跌到了15名。福特今年获得了第七的成绩，112PP100。通用最好的品牌是凯迪拉克和雪佛兰，都是第十，113PP100。本田汽车在这次评选中大获丰收，他们的Fit、Civic和CR-V在各自的组别内获得了冠军。而保时捷911是所有车型中问题最少的，成绩是67PP100。另外，最佳组装工厂的奖项被奔驰位于德国Sindelfingen的工厂获得，他们因为最少的质量问题和缺陷而获得白金工厂奖项，成绩是33PP100。
通用汽车拿了三个冠军
通用汽车旗下共有雪佛兰、凯迪拉克、别克和庞蒂亚克四个品牌名列其中，居行业领先地位。此外，通用汽车在三个细分市场的新车质量排名上获得了第一，也是获得排名第一数量最多的汽车制造商之一。在中级轿车车型中，推出后屡获殊荣的雪佛兰Malibu成为质量冠军。在大型轿车车型和大型皮卡车型质量排名中，通用汽车旗下的庞蒂亚克GrandPrix和雪佛兰SilveradoLD两款车型分别夺得了第一的宝座。此外，在大型高端轿车和紧凑型运动型轿车车型质量排名中，凯迪拉克DTS和庞蒂亚克Solstice也进入了三甲。
马自达当选最佳进步品牌
在所公布的其他品质调查结果中显示，马自达(Mazda)被认定为最佳进步品牌，该品牌的每100辆车的品质问题数目较上年减少36个，品质显着提高了22%，在2008年IQS评比中排名第22位。在整个北美汽车业中，品质提高了6%，即每100辆车的品质问题数目为7个。
